The Bible is unique, authoritative and instructive. It is the most widely read piece of literature in the world. The book of the Lord directs us to the Lord of the book; only He is able to declare the end from the beginning and from ancient times things yet done (Isaiah 46:9-10).
The Torah, writings and the prophets reveal astonishingly
numerous, precise and detailed prophecies concerning Messiah and what He will do, so that He might be recognised and that we would trust and follow Him.
Believers in Jesus the Messiah would say that many of the Jewish Scriptures have been fulfilled in Him in the New Covenant referred to in Jeremiah 31:31; also that further prophecies will be fulfilled when He returns to the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4).

Prophecy about Messiah
According to Scripture, Messiah should be born in a
specific place (Bethlehem Ephrathah) and through the line
of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, from the tribe of Judah and a son
of David. Please check the following Scriptures carefully to
examine the prophecy (in blue) and fulfilment (in black):
Messiah’s Birth and Lineage
1.“Dwell in this land and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands and I will perform the oath that I swore to Abraham your father. And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed (Genesis. 26:3-4).”
“The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David,
the Son of Abraham (Matthew 1:1).”
2. “But you Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me, the One to be Ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting (Micah 5:2).”
“But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are not the least
among the leaders of Judah; for out of you shall come forth
a Ruler who will shepherd My people Israel (Matthew 2:6).”
3. “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold
the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His
name Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14).”
“So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was
spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: Behold the
virgin shall be with Child and bear a Son, and they shall call
His name Immanuel,”
Messiah’s Ministry
According to the prophets Malachi, Moses and Isaiah; Messiah would be preceded by a Messenger, be the Prophet like Moses, perform miracles, be rejected and fulfil promises to Jewish people and be a light to the Gentiles.
1.”Behold, I will send My messenger, and he will prepare the
way before Me (Malachi 3:1).”
“For this is he of who it is written: “Behold I will send My
messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before You.’ (Matthew 11:10).”
2. “The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me
from your midst from your brethren. Him you shall hear
(Deuteronomy 18:15).”
“Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found
Him of whom Moses wrote in the law, and also the
prophets, wrote – Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of Joseph (John
1:45).”
